Energy Efficiency

TXU offers a variety of rebates to business customers who sign up for or renew a 12 month contract with TXU. Rebates are available for HVAC equipment, lighting, programmable thermostats, vending equipment, tankless water heaters, roofing improvements, compressed air, VFD's, chillers and rooftop HVAC units. Some rebates have been assigned a pre-determined rebate value, while others will be rewarded on a case-by-case basis. Some rebates may also vary based upon the energy usage and contract signed by the facility.

Customers can work with designers and installers to develop a project plan and complete a participation application form. Tillamook PUD offers the Dairy Lighting Retrofit Program for its agricultural members to save energy on lighting in eligible barns/facilities. Tillamook PUD completes a lighting audit of the facility to calculate the energy savings and rebate amount. Incentives are provided for the replacement of existing mercury vapor, incandescent, and T12 fluorescent fixtures with new ORION AG9000 3-lamp T8 fluorescent fixtures. This rebate is available for retrofits only, new construction is not eligible. Customers must call prior to implementation of the program in order to qualify and all measures must meet Tillamook PUD specifications. In addition, they also offer a five-year, five percent interest loan for qualifying customers.

The EasySave program (formerly known as the Small Business program) is designed to encourage small commercial customers on TEP's Rate 10 schedule and K-12 schools to upgrade existing equipment to more energy efficient equipment.

The Commercial Energy Solutions EasySave Plus program (formerly known as the Large Business program) offers rebates to business customers for installing a variety of energy equipment types.
