Columbia Water & Light - HVAC and Lighting Efficiency Rebates

Columbia Water & Light (CWL) offers rebates to its commercial and industrial customers for the purchase of high efficiency HVAC installations and efficient lighting. Incentives for certain measures are based upon the size and efficiency of the installed measures. Contact CWL for more information on equipment and program requirements. Up to $3,770 in incentives is available to customers who employ a high efficiency HVAC system. Up to $22,500 is available to customers who install efficient lighting systems which reduce demand.

Columbia Rural Electric Association - Irrigation Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Columbia REA, through the Bonneville Power Administration, offers an irrigation energy efficiency program for its agricultural customers. Stationary systems are not eligible for this program due to the number of sprinklers per acre. Replacement sprinklers are eligible for retrofits identified by utility staff, the consumer, the irrigation equipment dealer, or through pump testing and system evaluation. The new sprinkler nozzle flow rate must be the same or lower than those replaced. A variety of different irrigation equipment including gaskets, sprays, sprinklers, nozzles, drains, and drop tubes are eligible for rebates.

Columbia River PUD - Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs

Columbia River PUD offers a variety of rebates to commercial and industrial customers who make energy saving improvements to facilities. Rebates are available for lighting retrofits, weatherization measures, water heating, appliances, HVAC measures and cooking equipment. Weatherization rebates are available for facilities that include office or retail spaces that are less than 5,000 square feet in size and are heated by permanently installed electric heat (electric furnace, wall heaters, heat pump, baseboard heat, etc.). Eligible weatherization measures; including insulation, windows, and air sealing.

The lighting retofit program helps owners and leaseholders of commercial and institutional facilities upgrade light fixtures, lighting controls, and HVAC controls to energy efficient technologies. Projects must reduce the connected wattage of affected fixtures by at least 25% (occupancy sensors and programmable setback thermostats are exempt from this requirement). Rebates cannot exceed 70% of the actual cost of the energy-saving measures.

Colorado Springs Utilities - Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

The Colorado Springs Utilities (CSU) Business Energy and Water Efficiency Rebate Program offers a variety of incentives to business customers who upgrade evaporative cooling, HVAC, irrigation, lighting, motors, windows, toilets and urinals in participating facilities. Follow all efficiency and equipment guidelines on the program web site. Some rebates vary by the size, capacity or efficiency of purchased equipment. In order to receive rebate, complete application form with all necessary information. Purchases must be made and installed by December 31 of the current program year.

City Utilities of Springfield - Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

City Utilities of Springfield offers incentives for commercial customers to increase the efficiency of eligible facilities. Rebates are available for efficient lighting upgrades, controls and for programmable thermostats. The rebate amount is based on number and type of fixture or kW saved. Free commercial energy and lighting audits are also available under this program. The program web site includes worksheets that calculate the exact incentive which will be awarded, up to a maximum of $5,000. The worksheets must be completed online before measures are completed.

City of Palo Alto Utilities - Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

City of Palo Alto Utilities, through the Commercial Advantage Program and several separate offerings, provides incentives for commercial customers to replace old equipment with new, more efficient equipment. Eligible businesses must receive electric service from the CPAU. In order to receive a rebate, your application must be accepted before purchasing your equipment. Rebates are available for:

Lighting

Boilers and Water Heating equipment

HVAC equipment

Heat rejection equipment

Laboratory Upgrades

Commercial Cooking equipment

Refrigeration equipment

Commercial Hospitality Upgrades

Custom rebates

Networked PC's Power Controls

Appliances and General equipment  

The rebate is capped at $100,000 per fiscal year, and applies to replacement equipment only. Applications must be approved before the replacement equipment is purchased, and the equipment must be installed within 6 months of the application approval. Energy savings for the custom rebate must be estimated by a professional engineer.  Facilities with at least 50% of square footage dedicated as lab space are eligible to participate in the Laboratory Energy Efficiency Program.

City of Lompoc Utilities - Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

City of Lompoc Utilities offers rebates to commercial customers for the purchase and installation of energy efficiency lighting, clothes washers, dishwashers, replaced refrigerators, new refrigerators, LED exit signs and custom rebates. All equipment must meet stated program standards. Appliances must be considered "residential" in order to be eligible for rebates. Lighting rebates are not issued until a pre and post installation inspection is performed by City staff, verifying that old lamps, ballast and or fixtures have been properly disposed of at the City of Lompoc Landfill or Hazardous Waste Disposal Facility. Replaced refrigerators must have been manufactured before 1992 and be in working order.

City of Aspen - Energy Assessment Rebate Program

The City of Aspen encourages interested residents and businesses to increase the energy efficiency of homes and offices through the Energy Assessment Program. Participating homes and offices must located within the city and have a BPI-certified energy assessment performed on the property prior to receiving rebate payments. A report with recommended energy efficiency improvements will be made available to property owners after the completion of this assessment. Those who pursue and complete these recommendations are eligible for a reimbursement incentive of up to $225. Improvements include, but are not limited to CFL bulbs and fixtures, caulking material, insulation material, programmable thermostats and contracted insulation improvements. Participating individuals and businesses must be able to provide all relevant receipts for purchased equipment.

Chicopee Electric Light - Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Chicopee Electric Light (CEL) offers a Pilot Energy Efficiency Program to encourage non-residential, commercial, and industrial facilities to pursue energy saving measures and install energy efficient lighting and equipment in eligible facilities.  Incentives are provided for lighting upgrades, new construction projects, and custom measures.  Incentives are based on the annual kilowatt-hour (kWh) savings resulting from the energy efficiency improvements.  The maximum rebate available is generally $25,000, but Chicopee Electric Light may increase the cap for customers who use more than 1.5 million kWh per year.

Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power (Electric) - Commercial and Industrial Efficiency Rebate Program

Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power offers incentives to commercial and industrial electric customers who wish to install energy efficient equipment and measures in eligible facilities. Incentives are available for a variety of lighting equipment, motors, variable frequency drives and custom measures. Generally, equipment purchases and installation must be completed between June 9, 2011 and June 8, 2012. Project completion paperwork must be received by July 6, 2012. Customers must send copies of receipts with application for energy efficiency incentives to the address identified on the program application. All equipment must meet or exceed program efficiency requirements and all proper documentation must be submitted to CLFP to ensure rebate eligibility. All custom projects must be reviewed by CLFP to ensure resource and cost effectiveness.
